maaterra cups are BPI (Biodegradable Products Institute)-certified, a mark that helps consumers to identify and trust that our cups are compostable and can be diverted with food scraps where programs exist. The certification process is rigorous and ensures that our cups can be cycled back into the soil safely at a commercial composting facility.
