How do I place a custom order?

What is the pricing for custom plates?
Pricing per plate is as follows:
6-Inch: $3.00
8-Inch: $3.50
10-Inch: $4.00
12-Inch: $4.50
We do offer bulk discounts, so please reach out to us at hello@maaterra.com for more information.
Please note that we do charge a $50 set-up fee on custom orders. If design assistance is needed, we charge an hourly fee.
Plate Sizes
What sizes are available for custom plates?
We can do custom designs on all of our current plate sizes: 6 inch, 8 inch, 10 inch, and 12 inch. Here are suggestions for the different plate sizes:
- 6" Plate: Small Appetizers, Desserts, Bread & Butter
- 8" Plate: Large Appetizers, Desserts, Salad, Small Lunch
- 10" Plate: Dinner, Large Lunch, Picnic
- 12" Plate: Charger, Large Dinner, Buffet, Platter
Artwork & Design
Can I supply my own artwork? If so, what file formats are accepted?
Yes, we welcome finished artwork. Accepted file formats are PDF, JPEG, PNG, and AI.
Do you offer design services?

Will I see a proof of the artwork prior to production?
Yes. We will provide one proof for approval before going to production. If additional proofs are requested, additional design set-up charges will be applied to the order.
Shipping & Lead Time
How are shipping and handling costs determined?
Shipping and handling costs are priced per order. Once we know the order quantity and shipping location, we can provide expedited and standard shipping options depending on timing needs.
What is the lead time for custom orders?
Standard production lead times are 10-15 business days once full payment has been received.
Packaging Options
How are the plates packaged?
Standard Packaging: Plates are packaged in a clear, resealable bag with the maaterra label.
Eco Packaging: Plates are packaged in a reusable, compostable bag.
Payment Terms
When is payment required?
Full payment is due upon approval of artwork and before production begins.
