How do I place a custom order?

What is the pricing for custom plates?
Pricing For Custom Designed Plates
6-Inch: $3.50/plate
8-Inch: $4.00/plate
10-Inch: $4.50/plate
12-Inch: $5.00/plate
Minimum Order By Plate Size: 24
Design Set-Up Fee when artwork is provided: $40
Design Set-Up Fee when design assistance is requested: $75
We will provide one proof for approval.
Any additional changes or proofs requested will be billed at a design rate of $50 per hour.
Plate Sizes
What sizes are available for custom plates?
We can do custom designs on all of our current plate sizes: 6 inch, 8 inch, 10 inch, and 12 inch. Here are suggestions for the different plate sizes:
- 6" Plate: Small Appetizers, Desserts, Bread & Butter
- 8" Plate: Large Appetizers, Desserts, Salad, Small Lunch
- 10" Plate: Dinner, Large Lunch, Picnic
- 12" Plate: Charger, Large Dinner, Buffet, Platter
Artwork & Design
Can I supply my own artwork? If so, what file formats are accepted?
Yes. We welcome finished artwork. Accepted file formats are PDF, JPEG, PNG, and AI.
Do you offer design services?
Yes. Design services are available for submissions. Please see the "Orders & Pricing" for information on the cost. If you have questions, please email us at hello@maaterra.com.
Will I see a proof of the artwork prior to production?
Yes. We will provide one proof for approval before going to production. If additional proofs are requested, we charge a $25/hour fee.
Shipping & Lead Time
How are shipping and handling costs determined?
SHIPPING
maaterra offers several shipping options as detailed below.
Standard Shipping for orders under $200.00: $7.99
Shipping takes approximately 4-6 business days once an order has been completed. Orders are shipped via UPS, FedEx, or USPS.
Standard Shipping for orders $200.00 or more: $12.99
Shipping takes approximately 4-6 business days once an order has been completed. Orders are shipped via UPS, FedEx, or USPS.
Express Shipping: $22.99
Shipping takes 2-3 business days once an order has been completed. Orders are shipped via UPS or FedEx.
If an email address is provided at checkout, a tracking number for the order will be emailed to the recipient as soon as the information is available.

What is the lead time for custom orders?
Standard production lead times are 10-15 business days once full payment has been received.

Packaging Options
How are the plates packaged?
All custom orders are bulk packaged in a reusable plastic bag for maximum protection against dust and humidity.
Payment Terms
When is payment required?
Full payment is due upon approval of artwork and before production begins.

All sales on custom plates are final.
